We rented a cabin on Patterson Lake one year for my daughters birthday. I was wandering around in the morning with my camera and saw this person sitting at the end of the dock. The color of their shirt contrasted so nicely with the green water that I wanted to capture the moment. I enjoy the bright early morning sunshine coming down and the wonderful reflections on the water.
This photograph was taken in Winthrop Wa (Washington State), in the beautiful Methow Valley. The Methow is a small jewel of an area not too far from Seattle in the Pacific Northwest. Okanogan County is such a great place to live for all of the sunshine and outdoors recreation.
